One of one card kit
A 1/1 card kit, or a finished 1/1 card?
A kit gives you the parts to assemble a one of one yourself. Cardbop skips the assembly: design from a photo, and a single card arrives numbered 1/1 and sealed in a display case.
Free to design. Pay only when you order. Your photo is all you need to start.

The short answer
A one of one card kit is a do-it-yourself set for assembling a single custom card, usually a blank frame with a window for an autograph or memorabilia you mount yourself. Cardbop is the finished alternative: design a card from a photo online, and a single Display Card is printed, numbered 1/1, and sealed in a clear display case. It has no relic window, and it is not graded or authenticated.
DIY kit vs a finished 1/1 card
Both end with a one-of-a-kind card. They differ in what you bring and how much of the making lands on you.
| DIY 1/1 card kit | Finished Cardbop card | |
|---|---|---|
| You start with | A kit, plus the autograph, patch, or memorabilia you want to mount | A photo and a few details |
| The work | Trimming, mounting, lining up the window, and sealing it yourself | Designing online — pick a style, add the photo, write the back |
| What you end up with | A hand-assembled card built around the piece you mounted | A printed custom card sealed in a clear display case with a personalized label |
| Autograph or relic window | Usually the point of the kit | Not offered — Cardbop prints the card; it has no window for mounted items |
| The 1/1 number | Whatever you write or stamp on it | Printed on the back automatically for a single card |
| Best when | You already own a real signature or swatch and enjoy the craft | You have a photo and want a finished card without assembling one |
Kits vary by maker; the kit column describes the typical format, not any one product.

Frequently asked questions
What is a one of one card kit?+
A one of one card kit is a do-it-yourself set for assembling a single custom card, usually a blank card frame with a window where you mount your own autograph, jersey swatch, or other memorabilia, then protect it yourself.
Is Cardbop a one of one card kit?+
No. Cardbop is the made-for-you alternative: you design a card from a photo online, and it is printed and sealed in a clear display case with a personalized label. There is nothing to assemble.
Can I add an autograph or a jersey patch?+
Not as a mounted item. Cardbop prints the whole card and has no window for relics or signatures. If mounting a real signature or swatch is the goal, a DIY kit is the better fit.
Is my card numbered 1/1?+
Every Display Card is numbered 1/1 by default; its case label can show a date, a #number, or a decorative GEM MT 10 instead, or no number. The cards in a 10-card pack are numbered 1/10 to 10/10, or with the customer's own numbers, or none.
Is a 1/1 card authenticated or graded?+
No. It is a presentation product, not a card graded, authenticated, certified, or assigned a numeric grade by a third-party grading service. The 1/1 describes the edition you intend; Cardbop does not verify scarcity or assign collectible value.
How much does a finished 1/1 card cost?+
$29.99 for one Display Card and $49.99 for a 10-card Card Pack. Designing is free, and you can personalize one in minutes.
