The short answer
A great gift for dad from the kids is a personalized trading card of them, with each kid's message behind the card's QR code. A Display Card in a case is $29.99; a 10-card Pack ($49.99) gives every kid their own card. Behind each card's QR code: a note, a drawing, or a video link, added after you order.
Ideas dads actually keep
A card of each kid
His favorite people, on cards he'll keep on the desk. A 10-card Pack covers every kid in one order, each with their own photo and details.
A card of Dad, made by the kids
The grill master, the coach, the guy with the car: the kids pick the photo and write his "stats".
Each kid's message behind it
A note, a drawing, or a short video of the kids saying why he's the best, behind each card's QR code.
From a toddler
A card of the little one, with a video of their first "I love you, Daddy" linked behind it.
For Christmas, his birthday, and Father's Day
Christmas
Under the tree: a card from each kid, and the year's photos and a video message behind them.
His birthday
One card from all the kids, with every kid's note behind the code.
Father's Day
A Father's Day trading card of the kids (or of Dad), with a note he'll find when he scans it.
First Father's Day
The baby's rookie card, with the first year's photos behind it. Add to it every year.

Frequently asked questions
What's a good gift for dad from the kids?+
A personalized trading card of each kid, with a note, drawing, or video message from that kid behind the card's QR code. It's personal, it fits on a desk, and it's the one thing he can't buy himself. A Display Card is $29.99; a 10-card Pack is $49.99.
What's a good Christmas gift for dad from kids?+
A card from each kid under the tree, with the year's photos and a short video of the kids behind the QR code. It works even for young kids and toddlers, because a parent can record the video.
What's a good Father's Day gift from kids?+
A Father's Day trading card: a card of the kids, or a card of Dad made by the kids, with a thank-you note behind the QR code that he finds when he scans it.
How do young kids add a message?+
Record a short video or voice memo on a phone, upload it to YouTube, Vimeo, or SoundCloud, and add the link to the card's page. Drawings can be added as photos with a caption.
What goes behind the QR code?+
Every Cardbop card is a Living Card: the QR code printed on the back opens a page that belongs to that card. You can add the story behind it, more photos from that day, links (a highlight video, a playlist, a shared album), and a note the person who gets it finds when they scan it. Only people with the card or its link can open the page, and the owner can make it private. The printed code never changes, so the page can be updated any time.
How much does it cost?+
A single Display Card in a case is $29.99 and a 10-card Card Pack is $49.99. The page behind each QR code is included with every card. Designing is free.
