The short answer

Cardbop's baseball card template is free to fill in online and ends in a real printed card: 2.5 x 3.5 inches, on card stock, sealed in a display case. Add the photo, name, team, position, number, and season on the front and a stat line or message on the back, and preview it live. A printed card is $29.99; a 10-card Pack for a team is $49.99.

What's on the template

The front

  • Photo. Batting stance, a throw, or the dugout. Reposition and zoom it in the template.
  • Player name. Big on the front, the way a real card does it.
  • Team and position. Team or club, plus position: pitcher, shortstop, catcher, utility.
  • Number. Their jersey number, if you want it. Blank fields print nothing.
  • Season and league. "Spring 2026" and the division or age group.

The back

  • Stat line. Batting average, hits, RBIs, or strikeouts. Or a highlight if nobody kept score.
  • A message. Up to a few sentences from a parent, coach, or teammate.
  • The QR code. Every Cardbop card is a Living Card: the QR code printed on the back opens a page that belongs to that card.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free baseball card template?+

Yes. Cardbop's template is free to fill in online: add a photo, name, team, position, number, season, and a message for the back, and preview it live. You only pay if you order the printed card ($29.99 in a case, or 10 cards for $49.99).

What size is a baseball card template?+

A standard baseball card is 2.5 x 3.5 inches (63.5 x 88.9 mm). At 300 dpi that's 750 x 1050 pixels, plus a small bleed if you're printing it yourself. Cardbop's template is already that size.

What goes on a baseball card template?+

On the front: the photo, player name, team, position, number, and season. On the back: a stat line or highlight and a short message. Cardbop adds a QR code to the back that opens the card's own page.

Can I download the template?+

Cardbop's template works in the browser instead of as a file: you design the card online, and the finished card is printed and shipped to you.

Can I make a whole team's cards from one template?+

Yes. A Card Pack is 10 cards in one order, and each card gets its own photo, name, and number. Team parents often make the whole roster at once.

Does it work for softball and other sports?+

Yes. The same template works for softball, tee ball, and any sport; the fields just change name, like position or event.
