The short answer
For Kwanzaa gifts, give one personalized card for each of the seven days, each about a person or story that reflects that day's principle. Zawadi are traditionally meaningful rather than expensive, and a 10-card Card Pack ($49.99) covers all seven with three spare cards. Every card has its own QR code that opens a page for photos, a note, or a recorded story. Kwanzaa runs December 26 to January 1.

Frequently asked questions
What are traditional Kwanzaa gifts?+
Kwanzaa gifts, called zawadi, are traditionally meaningful rather than expensive: often handmade, educational, or about heritage, and often given to children on January 1. A personalized card with a family story behind its QR code fits that tradition.
What are good Kwanzaa gifts for each day?+
One card for each of the seven principles: the family (Umoja), each child (Kujichagulia), the people who help (Ujima), a family or local business (Ujamaa), a goal (Nia), something they made (Kuumba), and an elder (Imani). A 10-card Card Pack ($49.99) covers all seven with three to spare.
When is Kwanzaa?+
Kwanzaa runs from December 26 to January 1 every year, one day for each of the seven principles.
What goes behind the QR code on each card?+
Every Cardbop card is a Living Card: the QR code printed on the back opens a page that belongs to that card. You can add the story behind it, more photos from that day, links (a highlight video, a playlist, a shared album), and a note the person who gets it finds when they scan it. Only people with the card or its link can open the page, and the owner can make it private. The printed code never changes, so the page can be updated any time.
Can I record an elder's story behind the card?+
Yes. Link a video or voice recording on the card's page, along with photos and the story in writing, and add to it any time.
How much does it cost?+
A 10-card Card Pack is $49.99 (about $5 a card), and a single Display Card in a case is $29.99. The page behind each QR code is included with every card. Designing is free.
